Structural Software Engineer

IDEA StatiCa is a leading international innovator in the field of structural analysis and design of structures. Our applications are desktop as well as cloud-based and enable structural engineers in more the 115 countries worldwide to accurately design structural members, which they had estimated before. As a Structural Software Engineer you will contribute to IDEA desktop applications to ease the daily job of structural engineers across the world thanks to combination of our unique generic solution with the cloud technologies.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Program parts of IDEA StatiCa applications and develop your programming skills 
  • Actively participate in decision making on further program innovations  
  • Create automated tests of IDEA StatiCa software (results, reliability),  
  • Verifying the functionality of the programs before releasing the version to customers.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Several years of experience in structural design 
  • Knowledge of one of the key finite element based 3D static programs 
  • Knowledge of major CAD programs in the industry 
  • Knowledge of mathematics, mechanics and logical thinking 
  • Basic understanding of algorithmization and programming. Determination to learn .NET (we encourage it!) 
  • Ability to work in a team (SCRUM methodology) 
  • Excellent oral and written English
