Console wall anchoring
Example of atypical shear connection. The bearing member created from a thick plate modeled as a transferring plate is welded to the short bracket from stiffening chamfered plates and bolted to one of the endplates. The bracket is connected to two vertical rolled U-section beams, and the members are welded to endplates anchored to a concrete block. Modeled in IDEA StatiCa Connection application.
