Rotational capacity limited by bolt and weld failure (Stiffness analysis)

In the older versions, the rotational capacity of the connection in the stiffness analysis was determined by 15% plastic strain of plates only.

Newly, the limit is defined by these three factors:

• Failure of bolts (bolt steel failures in tension and shear)
• Failure of welds
• Plates (15% plastic strain)

This affects the Rotational capacity value Φ_c.
