Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the US team while contributing to our business growth. 

IDEA StatiCa is a leading international innovator in the field of structural analysis and design of structures. Our applications enable structural engineers in more the 125 countries worldwide to accurately design and code check structural details, which they had estimated before. Our Chief Executive Officer, Juraj Sabatka, is the EY Technology Entrepreneur of the Year 2020.

We are a fast-growing company with a dynamic team in the US office (Mount Laurel, NJ). To support our expansion, we are looking for an energetic and proactive Business Development Manager to strengthen our operations, support the team, and generate new business opportunities. 

What you will do?

Administrative & Operational Support: 

  • Manage order processing, invoicing, and data entry into our CRM. 
  • Assist in organizing events, customer training and webinars.
  • Support marketing efforts by preparing materials such as presentations, brochures, and email campaigns. 
  • Maintain and update customer databases, generate reports, and track key business metrics. 
  • Assist with customer outreach for training, updates, and promos. 

Lead Generation & Business Development: 

  • Identify and research potential customers and industry contacts to generate new business leads. 
  • Conduct cold calling, outreach campaigns, and follow-ups to engage prospects. 
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team. 
  • Contribute to market research and competitor analysis to refine business strategies.

Who you are?

We are looking for a driven, adaptable, and resourceful professional who thrives in a startup environment and is eager to take on new challenges. The ideal candidate will have: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred). Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. 
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset – you don’t wait for instructions; you take initiative. 
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to engage confidently with potential customers and internal teams. 
  • Experience or familiarity with CRM systems, marketing tools, or sales automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, is a plus). 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small, agile team. 
  • A positive attitude toward learning new technology (basic understanding of engineering software is an advantage but not required).
